OUR CRAFT BEERS

Here in The Hops our brewhouse & interactive brewpub we are all about the experience of craft beer. Our 5 barrel sized system feeds 4 fermenters and then onto the 14 brite tanks (or serving tanks), ensuring customers get not only a wide variety, but the freshest and most minimally processed brew that we can possibly offer.

Our 14 unique house-made brews are served directly from the brite tanks via our centerpiece, the self-serve tapwall. Customers are their own bartender with our system, and can sample as little or as much as you like.

Our brews can be described as traditional with a twist. classic styles such as pale ale, brown, and porter can be found, but so too could a white stout – a light beer that tastes dark – with coffee beans and cocoa nibs, an American white brewed in part with locally sourced raw week and hops from Kansas company, a rye IPA infused with fresh rosemary, and/or a Belgian dubbel rested on black mission figs.

No Till Dark Lager
5.4% | 30 IBU

No Till is a nod to the practice of farming without disturbing the soil. A practice that hits close to an ol' family farm and thus we felt compelled to have that namesake for this brew.

A full flavored dark lager with chocolate and earthy undertones. Don't let the color fool you, it still has the "goes down smooth" lager characteristics, allowing the subtle complexities of the malt to come through and highlight the pour.

Floppy Hat Kolsch

For those blissful days under the sun, surrounded by the Flint Hills, and always catching a great lie. We're proud to partner with Colbert Hills Golf Course for this refreshing American Kolsch style ale. Brilliantly light golden straw in color, it hits the palate with a crisp bready sweetness, and a subtle floral hop character.

Whistle and Fish Pale Ale
5.9% | 59 IBU

Found just to the north side of bitter without becoming cynical. Soft enough, but certainly not confused for a pushover. Whistle and Fish Pale Ale is all about those things that never go out of style. The friend that always makes you smile. Reliability in a glass. The emphatically standard American hop character of citrus, floral, and a touch of pine are unmistakable. While a blend of pale and pilsner malts give it just the right amount of grainy sweetness and ensure it goes down smooth.
